What Is Post-Matric Scholarship: A federally sponsored program run by state and local governments is called the Post-Matric Scholarship Program. The Scholarship Requirements

  • This grant was open to applicants from underrepresented groups, including both boys and girls.
  • Candidate eligibility requirements include Indian citizenship.
  • Eleventh and twelfth graders, graduate students, M.Phil. candidates, PhD candidates, and diploma candidates are all eligible.
  • The family’s combined annual income cannot be more than two lakh rupees.
  • The previous exam must have yielded a minimum score of 50% for candidates.

How to Apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship? 

Each post-matric scholarship has a different application process that must be followed. Most scholarship programs ask qualified applicants to submit their online applications via their own websites or portals. 

Through some of the most well-known portals, such the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), the UP scholarship portal, the MP scholarship portal, and others, you can apply for these scholarships. 

  • Visit scholarships.gov.in to access the NSP website.
  • Go to the NSP homepage and select the “Ministry of Minority Affairs” option under “State Schemes.”
  • Keep an eye out for the “Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities Guidelines.”
  • Select the “New Registration” link that appeared on the main page after that.
  • You’ll be directed to a page with instructions for filling out the registration form for new students. After reading all of the registration instructions, click “Continue”.
  • The updated student registration form will subsequently be shown to you. Give the registration form your name, phone number, and email address along with other factual and correct information.
  • Enter your precise bank information here. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number you provided during registration.
  • Enter your OTP and log into NSP before completing the form.
  • As a result, an application Id and password will be created that can be used later.
  • Fill out the scholarship application, then submit it with the necessary documentation.
  • Print a copy of the completed Scholarship application for your records before submitting it.


Post-High School Scholarship Required Documents

The Scholarship may be renewed after being awarded to students throughout the subsequent academic year. A course on producing certificates will therefore be offered the following academic year.

Students who received at least 50% of the possible exam points will have their scholarship renewed.

The Government of India’s Ministry of Minority Affairs will release the post-secondary scholarship results. Students can examine their results at scholarships.gov.in, the official website. The recipients of the chosen candidates will receive scholarships following the results release.
