Bayero University, Kano

The Bayero University Kano (BUK) is in Kano, the capital of Kano State, Nigeria. It was once known as Bayero University College before gaining university status and was founded in 1975. There is presently a university in the northwest Nigerian state of Kano.

Nigeria Police Academy Wudil

The Police College in Kaduna and the Police Training School in Challawa, Kano, where trainee Inspectors were trained, were formally inaugurated in 1988.

The two campuses were combined and moved to the Academy’s permanent location in Wudil, Kano, following General Sani Abacha, the country’s then-head of state and commander in chief of the armed forces, on April 2, 1996.

This was done in the hopes that the Academy would eventually associate with a university to provide degree-granting programs.

In 2012, the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil- Kano State received official recognition from the National Universities Commission (NUC), becoming Nigeria’s 124th university and 37th federal university. This came after the Nigerian Federal Government upgraded the Academy in 2012. 2012 saw the start of the academic year.

Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, Kano State: The Al-Istiqama Institution, Sumaila (AUSU), a privately run institution, is located in Kano State, Nigeria. A certificate of official accreditation and/or recognition has been given to AUSU by the National Universities Commission (NUC) of Nigeria.

Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano State: Maryam Abacha American Institution of Nigeria (MAAUN), a private institution in Nigeria with the required accreditation, was established by Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) granted the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) Kano campus its operating license on Monday, February 15, 2021.

One of the most comprehensive undergraduate programs offered by a private institution in Nigeria is at Maryam Abacha American Institution of Nigeria (MAAUN). The university is located in Kano, the state’s capital city.

Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo established the privately funded Maryam Abacha American University in Nigeria (MAAUN). The National Universities Commission (NUC) granted the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) Kano campus its operating permit on Monday, February 15, 2021.

Capital City University, Kano State: Capital City University is a private university in the historic district of Kano, Nigeria. By increasing access to higher education, encouraging intellectual development, and cultivating talent among the public, the institution was established to serve the community better.

CCUK (Capital City University of Kano) has received accreditation from Nigeria’s National Universities Commission (NUC).

Facts About Bayero University, Kano as a Federal University

Before becoming Bayero University, Ahmadu Bello College existed. There are two colleges of education and eleven faculties.

It was promoted from University College to University and given a new name, Bayero University College. In 1975, it was founded.

Facts About Kano University of Science & Technology, Wudil as a State University

KUST, often called Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST), is situated along Gaya/Dutse Road in the Kano state municipality of Wudil.

Vice Chancellor Aliko Dangote works there. In 2001, ADUST was established. According to a ranking of the top universities in Nigeria, the university is rated 123rd. Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil, was the previous name of the institution.

Skyline University Nigeria has three distinct faculties, each with a department. With tuition estimated at N2,070,000, it is one of Nigeria’s most costly private institutions. The original owner of Skyline University is Mr. Kamal Puri.
