1. Abia State University (Absu)

When Abia State was established in 1991, the Imo State University’s Uturu campus was given to Abia State. Imo State University had initially controlled ABSU since its founding in 1981.

The Uturu Campus was expanded to include the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine to create Abia State University. The University currently confers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees.

2. The Technical University, Ibadan

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has fully authorized 15 academic programs at Tech-U, as it is known, as of the current academic year, which began in 2017.

Mechatronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics with Electronics, Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, and Statistics are a few of the programs that have received NUC accreditation.

3. Borno State University

Borno State University is one of the most recent state universities to receive NUC accreditation. The institution expects to start its academic session sometime in 2018 with 118 applicants.

Law, the arts, agriculture, medical science, veterinary medicine, and other subjects are among the available courses.

4. Kebbi State University Of Science And Technology

The Kebbi State University, which is based in Aliero, Kebbi, was founded in 2006 to admit residents of Kebbi State. The institution offers science, education, engineering, and agriculture courses.

5. The Tai Solarin University Of Education

Ogun State is home to the Tai Solarin University Education, founded in 2005. The university’s history begins at the Ogun State College of Education, founded in 1978.

6. Nasarawa State University

7. Eastern Palm University

The Imo State Government founded Eastern Palm University in Ogboko, Imo State 2016. Its mission is to become a top university that meets all relevant people’s academic and research needs, regardless of gender, race, nationality, religion, or political beliefs.

8. Northwest University

Kano State’s Northwest institution is a public institution. Among the faculties are agriculture, basic medical sciences, clinical sciences, education, engineering, environmental sciences, humanities, information and communication technology, law, pharmaceutical sciences, science, school of general, entrepreneurial and remedial studies, and postgraduate studies.

9. Niger Delta University (State Universities In Nigeria)

The Niger Delta University was founded on Wilberforce Island in Bayelsa State in 2000. The school currently enrolls about 10,000 students who take classes in its 12 faculties, some of which are in medicine, business, economics, education, diplomacy, and health science.

10. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University

Niger State’s IBB University is a public university. Management, religious studies, economics, agriculture, animal science, psychology, and Arabic studies are among the subjects covered in the curriculum. The university recently gave the go-ahead for the medical college‘s construction.

11. Kaduna State University

The Kaduna State University was founded in 2004 and now has 39 departments and 7 faculties. Some faculties include arts, Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Social and Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and Agriculture.

12. Edo University Iyamho (Eui)

Edo North, Etsako West LGA, Edo State is where Edo University Iyamho is situated. One of the nation’s newest colleges is EUI. It was started that year.

13. Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (Umyu)

The university’s name, which was once Katsina State, was changed to Umara Musa Yaradua University in 2009.

There are five faculties in the university: the faculties of education, humanities, law, natural and applied sciences, and social and management sciences.

14. Taraba State University
