How to Apply for an Oasis Scholarship

  • You must first go to Oasis.gov.in, the Oasis website.
  • If this is your first registration, you must use the “New Registration” button.
  • The district can be selected once the new window has appeared. If you are not a student in West Bengal, you must choose your permanent district.
  • Following that, the category certificate and the date of issue must be given. If you are in grades 9 or 10, you can continue with just the certificate application number.
  • The identifying number for the NSP application must then be given. Before applying for the Oasis scholarship, SC students must register at the NSP portal.
  • The paperwork must then be filled out with details such the father’s name, birthdate, etc.
  • The entire household’s annual income must then be disclosed.
  • They next need to input their email address, mobile number, state, district, and block.
  • The candidate is required to provide details about their academic history, such as the courses they completed and whether they were in the same class the year before.
  • The password must be entered, and then the “submit” button must be pressed to complete the registration process.


Eligibility Criteria Required

  • The West Bengali government introduced the Online Application for Scholarship in Studies (OASIS Scholarship) for the current academic year. There are still many important adjustments being made to the new application process

  • if you have finished pre-matriculation or are enrolled in a postgraduate program. Additionally, you are qualified to apply if you are a SC or ST applicant and your family’s annual income is less than 2.5 lakh rupees.
  • OBC individuals who have completed grade 10 and whose family’s yearly income is less than one lakh are also qualified.

How to Check Status Of Oasis Scholarship?

After submitting your Oasis Scholarship application, you must check to see if it has been approved. If there are any problems in the information provided or if the final verification is still pending, you can check the status of your application to see if it has been submitted to the institute.   • Visit the Oasis Scholarship’s official webpage at oasis.gov.in.
  • Currently, select Track Application from the menu.
  • Select your district here, then click submit.
  • The application tracking status page will now be displayed for you.
  • Enter your user ID and session information by clicking here and choosing “check status.”
  • You may now see where your application stands.


Renewal Process

The acknowledgment sheet and all of the registration data will subsequently be given to you. You must sign into Oasis Portal before renewing your scholarship. After logging in, you need to finish the four steps of the form submission.

The process’s initial step must be clicked. In addition, the district, block, post office, and zip code for the address must all be entered.

You will next be required to provide other details, such as whether or not you are a hostel resident.

Then, you must supply your academic data, such as the school’s name, the time you enrolled, the particulars of your course, your grades, etc.

The next step is to provide identifying information, such as Aadhaar numbers, bank account details, your family’s income source, etc.

Once you’ve completed the form, save it before submitting it. Then, you need to save the PDF form and hand it to the closest neighborhood or municipal office.
