The required cut-off score for applicants to the school who are submitting applications has been made public by KWASU. If your O’Level score is strong enough and you meet the cut-off point, KWASU will probably admit you.

Although KWASU is one of the greatest educational schools in the nation, there is a set cut-off score for all applicants to the school. 

Candidates who achieved that score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) administered by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB).

KWASU Cut off Mark 2024

KWASU’s current UTME Cut off Mark is 140. Candidates who listed Kwara State University, Ilorin as their top preference in the recently completed UTME are invited to apply for admission to their department of choice at KWASU.

For applicants who fell short of the departmental minimal cutoff mark, KWASU additionally offers supplemental forms.

In addition to achieving a UTME score of at least 140, candidates are required to have at least 5 credits in their WASSCE or NECO results.

KWASU Nature of Admission Screening

Within a week or two, the Kwara State University (KWASU) conducts its entrance screening exercises, which are typically conducted in two rounds. Students who apply to the institution to attend classes must participate in the pre-screening process after it is released.

Only the SSCE result and a printout of the JAMB registration are necessary documents for the pre-screening procedure.

It is crucial that the candidate arrives early and finds the screening location quickly. According to their JAMB scores and corresponding SSCE results, candidates will be screened.

Following the potential release of the admission lists is the second stage of screening. Candidates who have earned admission will receive an invitation for a second round of screening. All documents, including;

  • original copies of the Statements of Results/Certificates they submitted as proof of their schooling.
  • Note: Cases involving pending findings won’t be considered.
  • Birth Certificate/Age Statement.
  • a letter of recommendation for excellent behavior from the village head, a responsible citizen, or a civil servant with at least Grade Level 10 (or its equivalent in the private sector).
  • Along with this notification of admission status Slip, the certificate of local government of origin.

KWASU Post UTME and Screening Requirements

Within a week or two, the Kwara State University, Ilorin organizes its Post-UTME and admission screening activities. Typically, it consists of two phases.

Students who are interested in attending the school should register for the Post-UTME screening exercise as soon as it is announced.
