The whole cost of the recipient’s books, tuition, and fees at any recognized college or university with a campus in the United States is covered by the Cameron Impact Scholarship.

Because the Cameron Impact Scholarship is a merit-based program, all applicants who satisfy the GPA and citizenship requirements are eligible, regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or any other background factors.

Eligibility Criteria

Numerous professional careers offer countless chances to make a positive difference. The Cameron Impact Scholar has the ability and the motivation to serve society for the duration of its existence.

The Foundation will award a quarter, or around 25%, of the scholarships to those seeking careers in the public sector, education, nonprofits, government, or other sectors where public service is their declared professional objective.

According to the following standards, candidates are eligible for the Cameron Impact Scholarship.

The applicant must:

1. Maintain a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.7/4.0 or its equivalent throughout high school.

2. Hold full citizenship in the United States of America.

3. Belong to the high school graduating Class of 2023 and intend to pursue a full-time degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university for the entire academic year following high school graduation.

4. Exhibit proven excellence in extracurricular activities, possess strong leadership skills, showcase a robust work ethic, and actively engage in community service and/or civic-minded activities.

5. Submit the following three components by the application deadline.

There are two opportunities to submit the Initial Online Application:

1. The early Application Deadline for the Class of 2025 is May 20, 2024, at 12:00 pm PT (NOON).

2. The regular Application Deadline for the Class of 2025 is September 9, 2024, at 12:00 pm PT (NOON).

Applications are continually accepted and evaluated. It is important to note that the Foundation will only review the first 3,000 Applications from the Class of 2025. Should this limit be close to being reached, a notice will be posted on the website and our social media accounts.

Selection Process

In autumn of 2024, the Selection Committee will select 75–100 Finalists for in-person interviews, typically conducted at the applicant’s high school. The Cameron Impact Scholarship winners will be announced in December 2024.

Throughout the four years of the Cameron Impact Scholarship term, recipients are anticipated to attend the annual Cameron Impact Scholars Award Ceremony and Summit.

It is crucial for applicants to submit their applications well before the final deadline, as the Foundation bears no responsibility for technical submission issues encountered on the last due date.

Recommendations and transcripts can either be uploaded directly within the application when prompted or emailed directly to the Foundation at admin@bryancameronef.org. Please limit submission to only two recommendation letters.

Applicants must not have familial or pre-existing relationships with any members of the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation staff, Board of Directors, or Selection Committee.
