Ambedkar Scholarship 2024: The Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojana published its 2024 Scholarship Notification. For the Ambedkar Scholarship Haryana 2024, you can apply online. The Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojana 2024 scheme notification must be read prior to submitting an online application.

Ambedkar Scholarship

In order to encourage deserving students from Scheduled Castes and Vimukt Jatis, Nomadic Ardha Nomadic Castes, and Backward Classes Block and B to pursue higher education, the Haryana Government’s Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatra Sansodhit Scheme is now being implemented.

The Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojana will award deserving students from various social groups in 2024 with honorary Block B scholarships for students from the most disadvantaged classes.

Eligibility Criteria Ambedkar Scholarship

  • The student needs to live in Haryana.

  • For the graduation exams, applicants must receive 65% in urban areas and 60% in rural regions in order to be considered for the award.

  • The applicant must submit an application for normal mode education in order to get the benefits of this scholarship.

  • Students must be enrolled in government-run schools, colleges, universities, and institutes to be eligible for this scholarship program.

  • Additionally, if applicable, the candidates must present their SC and OBC certificates.

  • For consideration for this scholarship, the candidate’s household income cannot be greater than Rs. 4 lakhs per year.

  • The Haryana Board-affiliated Government School’s students may also apply for this award.

  • In 2024, students enrolled in public and private colleges and universities in the state of Haryana are eligible to apply online through the Ambedkar Scholarship Haryana.

  • Candidates who identify as belonging to a Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC).

  • Candidates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes may not have a family income totaling more than Rs. 4 Lakh (4,00,000/-) per year.

  • Candidates can apply online if they are interested in the Ambedkar Scholarship. The application is not available in offline mode.

  • If a candidate applies for another plan after applying for this one, the application will be rejected.

Required Documents

Candidates are recommended to check that they have all the required documentation before filling out the application. The list of supporting documents that must be submitted with the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship application is indicated below.

  • a caste certificate that has been attested

  • Aadhaar card copy with authentication

  • a certified copy of the grade report from the course that the applicant for the award has passed

  • a certified copy of the applicant’s bank account number

  • a replica of the applicant’s identification card

  • a certified copy of a salary certificate

The Government of Haryana administers a second scholarship program under the umbrella of the Dr. Ambedkar scholarship in addition to the Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Sanshodhit Yojna.

The Indian Central Government is funding this scholarship. Along with a book and ad-hoc award of up to INR 1,000, it grants a sum of up to INR 350 per month for a period of 10 months. For SC children from Haryana who are residents and are enrolled in classes 9 and 10, the state of Haryana offers the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship.

The applicants must be regular, full-time students enrolled in government schools, government-recognized schools, or Central/State Board of Secondary Education in order to be eligible for this award. Additionally, the family income of the applicants cannot exceed INR 2 lakh.

Scholarship Application Process

The Dr. Ambekar Scholarship application process is done online. The Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship application can be completed online at the portal by the candidates. To avoid rejections, interested candidates should submit their applications within the allotted period. Below is a thorough description of the application process:

  • Visit the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Portal to apply.

  • To sign up for the scholarship portal as a new user, the student should select the ‘Student Registration’ tab. After a successful registration, a user ID and password are generated.

  • The applicants should click on the “Registered Students’ Login” link and enter their user ID and password to complete the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Portal login.

  • To access the Dr. Ambedkar scholarship application, they should click on the word “Apply for Scholarship.”

  • All necessary information must be entered into the application form.

  • Before submitting the Dr. Ambedkar application form, the applicant should double-check that all the information they submitted is accurate. They should then click the “Register Scholarship Application form” button.

  • To upload all the documents required to check the applicants’ credentials, the applicant must click the tab on the left side of the application form.

  • The applicant should then take a printout of the completed application and send it to the appropriate institute together with all of the supporting documentation that has been attested.

Dr Ambedkar Scholarship Renewal Process

To be eligible for the Dr. Ambedkar scholarship, applicants (both new and renewal applicants) must first register on the portal. On the official website, they can fill out an online application for Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar scholarships. The following are the specifics of the renewal procedure:

  • The candidate for the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship must go to the portal and select “New Registration.”

  • They must input the previously used Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship login information.

  • After that, the candidate should select the ‘Renewal Application’ tab for the current year.

  • A new User ID and password must be created after entering all personal information.

  • The candidate has to use their new credentials to log into the portal.

  • Dr BR Ambedkar scholarship form is displayed where the applicant should enter details like last year’s merit score, attendance details, etc.

  • They can update any other details if needed.

  • The final step is to upload all the required documents and ‘Submit’ the renewal application form.
